Waitangi Day - Mastiff Club outing

Hi everyone its Tans here on Friday I attended the Mastiff Club get together​ in Kumeu and met for the first time some awesome Mastiff club members, the dogs all behaved themselves, the food was and plenty. There was allot of information covered and some fantastic breeds that attended a beautiful big boy St bernard and a lovely DDB and of course the English Mastiff. Our wonderful trainer Janise, attended also, with her Corso Vally (Valentina) they were awesome ambassadors for our kennels and breed in this country and we couldnt be more happy at the level of obediece that young Vally already displays. Janise has an extensive background in the show scene and is able to call on other highly acclaimed specialists in this area as well this is evident in the level of poise being displayed. Valentina was identified by about week 3 as being something special we are excited with the excellent match these two have real chemitry. Janise has put a huge amount of time into the lovely girl and we expect her to be cleaning up in the Auckland show scene very shortly ....watch this space!. We will post updates on Vallys progress :)
We also have an association with another trainer Aimee from Kapiti, Wellington she has Sabina her intention and experience is in the show arena. A well known and seasoned veteran Sabby is already attending shows, we will also be updating Sabby's progress through the ranks.
We were hoping to have heard from an experienced/suitable trainer, based in the South Island, with an interest from the show scene to act as ambassadors and show the country what the Corso is capable of. For this we have ear marked Corsaii's Rome or Issa from Bella's litter.
At this stage both Issa and Rome are candidates for our breeding programe so their puppy obedience classes start this Wednesday at the Manukau Dog Training club in which we are proud members of. we will update on their progress too.
One thing I would like to say is how great it was to meet all the new Corso mums and dads over recent weeks, these pups all have wonderful new homes.
